Cable Knit Winter Inspiration

You may have seen this cozy Winter wedding inspiration pop up on a few of your favorite blogs, such as Style Me Pretty, Vale + Vine and Mountain Side Bride

Created by Best Day Ever Creative Events and captured by Christie Graham Photography, this editorial took place on a peaceful private residence in Pemberton, BC, and was filled with luxurious warm textures and an underlying cable knit theme that included sweaters, blankets, spools, a vintage Singer sewing table, and other knitting and sewing accessories.

Muted tones of cream, grey, blush, navy and aquamarine were echoed in the palette of the natural, organic-styled florals which included a mix of Winter greens and delicate blooms such as magnolia, ranunculus, lisianthus, anemone, agapanthus and freesia.

Enjoy the inspiration!

An Ode to Oscar

Seeing our work grace the pages of the exquisite Magnolia Rouge magazine is a wonderful way to start 2015!

We worked on this vibrant editorial with a team of creatives to bring the words of Oscar Wilde to life (see below)

A rich color palette combined with lush, cascading florals and garlands, an eclectic collection of decor and a naturally beautiful setting makes for wonderful wedding inspiration!

"And there is nothing left to do

But to kiss once again, and part,

Nay, there is nothing we should rue

I have my beauty, - you your Art,

Nay, do no start,

One world was not enough for two

Like me and you."

On the cover

At Celsia we take part in a select number of editorials each year which we lovingly pour all of our creative energy in to bringing to life.

The experience involves many hours of hardwork but is oh so rewarding when we see our designs published and all of our ideas shared for others to be inspired by and enjoy.

It is for this reason we are grateful and proud to share the news an editorial we collaborated on at Vancouver's beautiful Hycroft Manor will grace the cover of the Fall/Winter edition of Perfect Wedding magazine. In the midst of a beautifully busy wedding season, we feel it necessary to take a moment to revel in the excitement of this announcement as well as appreciate the talent of all of the wonderful vendors we had the opportunity to work with on this shoot.

We will let you know once all of the glossy pages are released and ready for you to enjoy!

A bout to suit

So we're a little behind in sharing this one with you but hopefully you've caught it by reading the latest edition of The Refinery Mag.

For this edition we created a boutonniere-inspired shoot called A Bout to Suit, in which we designed a series of different personal flowers that each had their own personality.

The idea being when it comes to thinking about the bout for your partner, you give a nod to their own interests or passions.

We created a bout for romantics, foodies, adventurers, nature lovers, the graphic-inspired, playful, Winter fans and the formal type.

See if you can guess which bout was for who.

You can read the full feature here

Thanks to Sherri Koop Photography for capturing our creations.

Jewel-toned treasure at North Arm Farm

Rich, vibrant colors combined with some of British Columbia's most spectacular scenery was the perfect back drop for this outdoor, Summer delight at North Arm Farm in Pemberton last year.

With the sun shining ever-so brightly, V + R said their vows under a floral-adorned birch arbor before sitting down for an outdoor dinner reception.

We used a combination of ranunculus, snap dragons, roses, garden roses, dahlia and carnations to achieve a balance between the rich, jewel-toned colors and stronger, more-vibrant tones. This was complemented by the use of eucalyptus and hanging amaranthus for greenery and texture.

Thoughtfully and beautifully planned and styled by Beau and Arrow Events and photographed by Robin O'Neill Photography, we hope you enjoy these images as much as we enjoyed reliving the florals.
