At Celsia Floral we love nothing more than to share our love of flowers, so join us for one of our in-house workshops, uniquely designed to give you the skills to create beautiful and elegant arrangements for any occasion. We change our workshop series by the season to make the most of the best that nature has to offer. 

A THREE-PART SERIES - FALL

Have you always loved flowers but been too afraid to try arranging them for yourself? This series is for you. We’ll start with the basics and build on these foundations each week adding new skills to your floral repertoire. You are also welcome to join us for individual classes, rather than the series.

Inspired by nature and the season, in this very special series we will create floral designs while learning techniques such as proper care and handling of cut flowers, tools and tricks of the trade, vase preparation techniques and working with various vase shapes.  Concepts of asymmetry, dimension and movement will be explored through seasonal foliage, branches and blooms.

WEEK 1: FALL BOTANICAL BOUQUET

In this class we will be guiding you though a loose fall foliage and bloom bouquet. Using the finest seasonally available flowers and foliage. You will learn techniques to design our own botanical and wild bouquet. Techniques such as proper care and handling of cut flowers, tools and tricks of the trade.

Cost: $145 per person. Maximum 12 people. ($390 for the set of three classes)

WEEK 2: FALL ARRANGEMENT

Using the finest seasonally available flowers and foliage. We will be teaching you our signature lush, botanical inspired arrangement. You will learn techniques such as proper care and handling of cut flowers, tools and tricks of the trade, vase preparation techniques and working with various vase shapes.

Cost: $145 per person. Maximum 12 people. ($390 for the set of three classes)

WEEK 3: WALL HANGING

In this class we will be making a wall hanging on a gold hoop. Enjoy fresh and hung indoors our out. Watch dry beautifully over time. Using the finest seasonally available flowers and foliage. You will learn proper wiring techniques, bloom placement, proper care, handling of cut flowers, tools and tricks of the trade.

Cost: $145 per person. Maximum 12 people. ($390 for the set of three classes)

CUSTOM MADE WORKSHOPS

Get the girls together or bring along your work colleagues!  Name the date and allow us to host you for a creative, fun-filled workshop with your nearest and dearest.  Prices for custom-made workshops start from $350.  Please inquire for more information.

PRIVATE WORKSHOPS

Corporate events, bachelorette's, birthday parties baby shower's or any excuse to get a group together and learn about flowers! We are available for your private workshops. 

Using the finest seasonally available flowers and foliage we will teach you bouquets, vase arrangements, flower crowns, wreaths, and terrariums. You will learn techniques such as proper care and handling of cut flowers, tools and tricks of the trade. All tools and supplies provided and you will take home your finished creations.

Held at our studio in Kitsalano 1930 Arbutus St. or a location of your choice

Group size range from 8 - 14 attendees
