A workshop update

Our Fall workshop series is now complete and we had a great time sharing our love of flowers at this most beautiful time of year.

One of our favorite aspects of flower school is watching the different creations that emerge from the same variety of flowers. The pumpkin centerpiece class was no exception with each attendee designing their own unique arrangement. We've shared a few snapshots from the day below.

We're currently putting the finishing touches on our Winter Workshop schedule which will include several Holiday Wreath classes, as well as some more floral intensive classes for early in the New Year. Perhaps the perfect Christmas gift idea?

We look forward to sharing these dates with you very soon.

Fall-inspired beauty

The turn of season has us reliving this gorgeous Fall wedding from last year.

Planned by Petite Pearl Events and photographed by Vasia Weddings, these pictures are proof that there is so much beauty to be had in every season when you truly embrace it.

These bridal flowers incorporated playful pops of colour with dahlia, garden roses, orange ranunculus and succulents, true fall tones and textures with the burnt-orange calla lilies, oak leaves, dried poppy pods and blue thistle, and richer tones through the smoke bush and burgundy ranunculus.

The perfect ode to Fall, don't you think?

On the cover

At Celsia we take part in a select number of editorials each year which we lovingly pour all of our creative energy in to bringing to life.

The experience involves many hours of hardwork but is oh so rewarding when we see our designs published and all of our ideas shared for others to be inspired by and enjoy.

It is for this reason we are grateful and proud to share the news an editorial we collaborated on at Vancouver's beautiful Hycroft Manor will grace the cover of the Fall/Winter edition of Perfect Wedding magazine. In the midst of a beautifully busy wedding season, we feel it necessary to take a moment to revel in the excitement of this announcement as well as appreciate the talent of all of the wonderful vendors we had the opportunity to work with on this shoot.

We will let you know once all of the glossy pages are released and ready for you to enjoy!

Playing with color

It's been a little quiet on the blog of late as we've been out and about creating beautiful weddings throughout the Summer months.

Rest assured we will be back with plenty of photos to share with you come Fall... as well as an announcement of new WORKSHOP DATES! Watch this space.

For now, we thought we'd share this sweet bouquet with you that had a unique colour palette. If we were to write it on paper it would sound a little challenging: soft pinks and peaches, rich wine tones, ink blue, a pop of fuschia. When we started to make it however, it just made itself! We love it when that happens.

Thanks to Melissa Gidney Photography for sharing her beautiful images of this couple's portrait session with us.
